CMS

The NovoTouch Content Management System (CMS) allows administrators to make updates to the digital content quickly and easily. The CMS can be accessed through secure web connections where the desired changes made by the administrator can be updated in real-time.

Advanced Keyword Search

Search for companies, people and locations by category, keywords or entering a name. After entering a search query, the user is displayed with a list of results. From this results page, users can further interact with the results for additional information.

QR codes

For easy access and quick information sharing, users can scan on-screen QR codes with mobile devices.

Map Integration

Users can search for locations by interacting with the menus provided and also select from categories or enter a location with the help of the on screen digital keyboard. This will display maps of the building facilities and show users the desired locations that they need to locate and significantly lower visitor confusion, frustration and appointment delays.

External Plugins

NovoTouch provides messaging capabilities that can be integrated with external data systems and social interfaces. The attract loop captures user attention on the building directory screens and can be used to inform users of current events, news and activities.

Live Video Operator

Initiate a video conference session from the user interface platform and connect with a live operator/expert in real-time. Video calls are enabled through a built-in camera that connects to another person that has a video end-point device. To connect, the kiosk user will press an on-screen “call” button that will be directed to a pre-determined end-point.

RSS Feed

NovoTouch includes an RSS Reader function that reads the nodes of a single, active RSS file and displays its contents in a constrained content window. Administrators can define one or more RSS feeds, toggle their visibility, and assign graphical buttons.
